Östra Lagnö is a part of Ljusterö. Half of the island is a nature reserve. Visitors come here to enjoy the cliff beaches, blooming beach meadows and easy walking trails.

At Brännholmen, on the east side of the island, you can set up a tent. Here you will find smooth cliffs to swim from and a beautiful view of the islets of the Svartlögafjärden bay. If you come here with a private boat, you can stay at one of the island’s many natural harbours.

Regarding the nature reserve

Östra Lagnö is a part of Själbottna and Östra Lagnö nature reserve that is managed by Archipelago Foundation. You can read the rules for visiting the nature reserve at County Administrative Board.
