Söderarm
Söderarm is in the outermost archipelago with the Sea of Åland as its closest neighbour.
Here you will find beautiful barren nature and a genuine archipelago community.
Söderarm is actually the name of the lighthouse that has stood on the island since the 17th century, the island itself is called Torskär. The lighthouse is well worth a visit, if you bring a pair of binoculars, you might be able to see some sea eagles or seals out in the water. The island doesn’t have a shop or restaurant, but there is a conference centre that is open for bookings all year round. You can also rent a cabin here during the summer, and there are activities to enjoy such as kayaking, fishing and tours in the archipelago.
