Järflotta is a scenic island south of Nynäshamn, with sandy beaches and ample places to explore.

Visitors mainly come here by private boat to anchor in one of the many natural harbours, at Sågviken, Sandviken and Skvallerhamn. Many of the bays at Järflotta are also suited for anchoring. Around the whole island there are nice swimming places, primarily at Södra Sand and Sågviken.

Regarding the nature reserve

Järflotta is a nature reserve managed by the Archipelago Foundation.

You can read all about the rules for nature reserves at the County Administrative Board.
