Långviksskär

Langviksskar M5b4526a1

Långviksskär is east of Nämdö in the outer archipelago. Here you will find a quaint little village with red wooden houses and breath-taking views of the archipelago.

There have been people living on the island for a long time. At the beginning of the century the island had 20 inhabitants, but now there is only one family that lives here permanently. Visitors come to the island to anchor at the beautiful natural harbours and enjoy the island’s nature with polished cliffs, leafy forests and beach meadows.

Regarding the nature reserve

Långviksskär is a nature reserve managed by the County Administrative Board, where you also find information about the rules for nature reserves.
