Ornö

Ornö is the largest island in the archipelago. You can get here by car ferry from Dalarö all year round.

The centre of the island is at Kyrkviken bay on the east side. There is a church, a convenience store, a museum, a restaurant, a deli, and several guest jetties. The nature at Ornö is mostly untouched and hosts a rich animal life. You can hike, bike or swim from beautiful cliff beaches. If you want to stay the night there is a bed & breakfast, a hotel and cabins to rent.

Did you know that you can have a look around the islands even before you travel? Go to Google Street View on the map by pulling the yellow icon (the figure) to the location you want to explore. Then click your way along hiking trails, forest paths, cliffs, and piers.
