Utö is a destination with something for everyone, with great services and a lot to experience and explore. Here you will find both hotel cabins and a hostel, several restaurants, a convenience store, a café, a bike rental, and a guest harbour.

If you fancy a dip in the ocean there are both rocky shores and sandy beaches. There are many bike paths and nice walking trails all across the island. You can take a break and enjoy a bite to eat at the famous Utö Värdshus or one of the other restaurants and cafés. There are bike and kayak rentals and if you would like to stay the night to enjoy another day. There are glamping tents, cabins, and hostels.

There are remnants from the intensive years of mining all over the island. You can read all about it at the mine museum by the impressive mine pits, visit the low rising houses where the miners lived, or the mill that can be seen all over Mysingen.

Regarding the nature reserve

The northern part of Utö is a nature reserve managed by the Archipelago Foundation.

You can read all about the rules for nature reserves at the County Administrative Board.
